Day 22, February 5, 2011 – At Sea on the way to Bay of Islands, New Zealand

We have turned south now as we make our way towards New Zealand.

Typical day at sea with bridge, lunch on the pool deck, etc.

Fred’s foot is much better and so are his lungs.  He has today and tomorrow at sea to really give it a rest.

Tonight we had dinner with Jamie and Dana Logan, the Cruise Director and his wife, the World Cruise Hostess.  It was a nice table with a couple from California and a lady from Steamboat Springs, CO.  She didn’t live there when we did, but she knew a lot of the people we knew pretty well, so we had a good conversation about Steamboat and what it was like now.

Tonights entertainment was Cirque Voyager and they put on quite a show.  It is done by the Singers and Dancers, and the Specialty Couple, who are acrobats in the style of Cirque Ole (I don’t think I spelled that right).  The music was great and so were the dancing and the acrobatics including aerial flying over the stage.  The theatre was full and from the applause, it sounded like everyone enjoyed the show.
